The achievement and obtainment of a quality lawn destined for sports fields, golf courses and residential greens, above all implies the correct preparation of the soil with processes aimed at the ventilation of the soil, improvement of the structure and remixing of the layers.
Secondly, the supply of mineral substances and amendments to increase the grade of fertility of the soil both in terms of structure and biological activity are necessary ( the soil is not an inert environment!!!) all of which has to be eminently completed by the choice of seeds of the highest quality or, in alternative, of the placement of the lawn ready in convenient rolls. It is necessary not to forget that each lawn needs ordinary and extraordinary maintenance like aeration of the herbaceous cortex, execution of treatments for the defense against parasites and infestants, timely manuring and periodic cutting that have to be constantly done to preserve the natural beauty of the lawn. |
